Work Availability
I have been a freelancer of one sort or another for pretty much my whole working life. As a result I am flexible about the work I take on and the subjects I tackle. So long as the job is financially viable, I am open to discussion.
Most of the time I am a writer, but I have worked in related fields including the lecture/convention circuit and television. There have been occasional forays farther afield, such as filling a gap in the convention organiser's team, and I have been involved in some truly epic examples of mission creep from time to time. What that comes down to is: hire me, and I will work.
Most of my published work is book-length non-fiction, but that's by no means all I can do. In recent history I have written short fiction and novels, web copy, treatments and material for television shows plus magazine articles. In short, I can write pretty much whatever you want writing.
That would include, but is not restricted to:

Research Materials
TV-related materials including fact-checking, 'bibles' for show producers and writers, and treatments.
